Apple, Inc. was founded 50 years ago today as Apple Computer Company.






Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

The value of an Apple-1 computer has reached up to $2.75 million at auction.  Prices vary based on historical significance and condition.

These rare computers (only about 60 to 70 remain) are highly sought after by museums and collectors.

I remember seeing an Apple Macintosh in the 80's. I think it was a UK specific thing. Not sure if they are rare.
A wise man once said don't judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes, that way when you judge him you're a mile away and you have his shoes!

I heard that the average new car in the USA now costs $50,000.

That's what I paid for my Jeep. 2025 Wrangler. But it isn't exactly "average" either.

I think the Rubicon models start in that range.

They are functionally the same as the Wrangler or Willys, but with more bells and whistles to push it toward luxury-car status. I couldn't justify paying the higher price for extras that I don't need or want. Originally, the Rubicon had better off-road capabilities, including locking differentials, a sway bar disconnect, and a higher towing capacity. Those are now becoming standard, as I have them without the higher price tag. I just didn't pay $1,000 for floor mats.
