I have a strange need to post my photos here.  I think I need regular positive affirmations from my friends here because I am trapped with constant self-criticisms in my head.

Gender dysphoria has made me very needy...so alien to the male socialization we all grew up with, "Just suck it up."

This is so hard to handle, at times. That voice that doesn't have many nice things to say but that seems to have endless ways of expressing everything from a bit of doubt to a formal rage of self-criticism.

That said, I think you look really good in your pictures.

Same. I find I need that validation though I did not know I did until I posted my first pic here. I need to know that I'm not fooling myself, that I do look female and I'm not suffering some sort of mental delusion! The comments on here really do help and I am so grateful for them as I'm sure you are.

I do not have the capacity to "just suck it up" anymore. I can get very emotional now and sometimes I just can't control it. I do really like this aspect of transition in particular though.
