There is nothing wrong with taking your time to make major decisions like this. There was a time when long engagements lasted for years before getting married. Many of those marriages lasted for decades. It takes time to really get to know someone. Don't feel a need to rush into anything. I am sure you will make the right decision when the time comes.

We know him pretty well, well actually we know him better than we know our self. But it just feels like we're too young.

That is a talk you will need to have before getting married. As I said, there is no hurry. Take the time to really get to know each other. If he is as wonderful as he sounds, it won't matter to him. But starting a major relationship without saying anything could lead to disaster later. Take your time and learn how he feels about things in general, so you have a clue about how to tell him.
