I have been good about not adding to my wardrobe for quite a while.  But when we were in town for market day, we saw some very cute linen capris on a sale rack.  55% off!  How could we not?  My wife bought the royal blue ones, and I bought the deep pink ones.  We both wore them to a weekly coffee gathering today.

I might go shopping with my sweetie this evening, after a planned hike in a park.
I want to see if she might find an outfit she thinks would look great on me.
Then I would wear it the next time I am with her, if it makes sense for the venue.

We ended up not going shopping after the hike.  Instead we went to her place to get freshened up.

I did just received at home a new pair of dark navy Lee brand pants.  Well that may be redundant as are not all navy colored pants dark?  HA!

They do have two back pockets made of satiny like material, but I can put maybe only my hand in each pocket, they are shallow.  Not a big deal because I have been trying to "tone" the appearance of my bottom and having anything in a back pocket, even my cellular telephone, would make the back a lot less nice looking that is for sure.  I would not impress anyone though but my bottom seems to be slightly nicer looking.  They also have the back darts that go down from the waist hem to the top center of each of the back pockets.

What I like about these though is that they help make me look like I have wider hips.  These are "curvy cut" pants.  I could wear these to the office.

They filled me with fear (and longing) for months and now I'm finally wearing them regularly at work and in public. They feel cooler in our ridiculous heat and I feel free and feminine. Much more so than in any shorts. 

This is a major step forward for me. 😃❤️

Nice to hear positivity like this Krista. I find Boho style flowy maxi skirts are soooo cool and conmfy in the hot weather. The way they swish and flap about combined with the light materials has a lovely cooling effect.

I wear skorts on the golf course all the time.  I have a dozen pairs to choose from!
I also have pretty Golftini skorts that I rarely rare wear due to the inadequate pockets.

Skorts are nice.  They can look like a shorter skirt but they provide some modesty.
Good for golfing for sure.

I have a couple more of these skirts, I really like how they look and fit.  One of them is a dark purple corduroy that actually looks really, really good.  They're a little shorter than what I generally wear but still an acceptable length.   

I wear cords during the cooler months although I have a nice corduroy skirt, one that I show online here at times, that I wear occasionally year round.

I heard a couple of compliments today about the tiered dress I wore to work today, 
That is always nice to hear.  I enjoy how it flows as I walk.  So feminine.
