They were tasty. 

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

It was a nice lunch.  We all went to a local steakhouse that is open for lunch on Fridays.  I got a small steak, a filet, and it was really, really good.  They were all nice and I also received some gift cards and a birthday card signed by all.

I will gladly be very appreciative of any compliments that are given to me.

Regarding your question about being told that "You look very feminine today, I do not find that to be a problem especially if it is coming from a friend that is aware of my transition journey.

My feeling is that a smart girl is always thankful for a compliment and I will smile and say "thank you"
