Hi everyone. I use something called a "Treadclimber." I usually burn up to about 50 or 60 calories on it. That's just enough to get my heart going and to work up a little bit of a sweat. Sometimes I walk outdoors too, but this time of year is difficult for that. Anything involving weights I don't bother with.

So what do you do in terms of exercise?

I try to run 3 to 6 miles twice a week.

I move rocks, carry 5-gallon buckets of wet gravel short distances, and hike (with or without a small or large backpack).

In the winter, most of my activities are indoors, doing research, reading old mining journals, and checking maps. It sounds sedentary, but my watch tells me that I average between a quarter and a half-mile of walking each day. If it is a grocery shopping day, that number triples because nothing I need is conveniently located near the store entrances.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I workout 3 days a week. Mostly Weight training. I do weight training, and start running towards the end of winter. I just broke my own record on the bench press yesterday. I have a physical job, and walk close to 8 miles by the end of the night. I'm a cyclist as well.

Cycling is good and fun.

Watch out for the cars though!
