I'll just throw this out there:

You have a space here, Charlotte. It belongs to you. You may use it as you wish. You can abuse it and neglect it if that's what you're feeling and no one will have any expectations of you.

No one will have any expectations of you.

You don't have to pop into the threads of others and say nice things. You don't even have to read other threads if what they say triggers or hurts you or makes you feel less than. This is a giving place, full of giving people. We give and expect nothing in return. This means if you need to take for a while (or indefinitely), just do that. Use this space, use us for whatever support we might provide. That's why we're here.

Oh, and the profile photo/dress are super super cute!

I just accept what I have been given the fact I can pass as an older lady (well I am 71) , I will never be slim and graceful but I am happy with what the universe gave me. I say lower your expectations and you might get a surprise. I like you new profile pic, looking fab my dear.

Thanks for the kindness, you're all just too sweet when I'm just a mess head with no emotional control!

I guess I just dream of having a me I can be proud of, that doesn't just remind me of him all the time. Maybe some would like my figure, but to me its the embodiment of him and thats always in my head. I just hope and pray I get some curves in the coming years as butt lift and hip fat injection has a very tough recovery. I really dont want to go that far.

Thats my new running outfit. I would love a body shape thats nice rather than this man figure!

Stottie Girl

Give it time Charlotte. Your body will respond.

You aren't going to be curvy like Kelly Brook or Kim Kardashian, none of us are, so you need to be realistic.

Because of my weight I'm not really sure what body shape awaits me as I slim down but what will be will be. I hope for curves but if that's not what I've been dealt then that's OK.

Women come in all shapes and sizes there are plenty of women who aren't very curvy but still look awesome. At the end of the day we can't change our skeleton so we can't expect total miracles if we do not have the hip width or the petite shoulders. We can choose clothing that flatters the shape we do have though. CIS women have to accept clothing limitations based on their frame all the time. I can't really wear button up tops or halter neck tops for example.

If you are going running what about swaping your shorts for a skort? The a-line skirt will give you a more flattering shape for now while you wait for your body fat to change.

I'll try and find a skort that's cute to see if that helps at least from the outside. But I still would love a body that I'm proud of. I literally ate 1.5 kg of peanut butter on my existing diet over 2 weeks and didn't even put on 50g. How does that even happen lol. I'm considering adding shots of olive oil to all my food next and upping to 1kg peanut butter a week. Like force my body to get heavier!

Don't ask me! If I share the same room as a jar of peanut butter I'll be liable to put 3 lbs on even if I don't open the lid!

If you really want to put weight on then bakery treats, pizzas junk food or US fast food is a sure way to do it. Get youself to Greggs, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and KFC and watch your waistline magically expand ha ha!

I strongly advise you not to do it though! It's tough loosing weight on HRT.

@Charlotte Kitty
Dear Charlotte:
Your new dress in your profile picture and your running outfit look
great on you... I love the colors and teddy bear pattern...
That fits in with you furry activity too.

It's not a good plan to try to put on weight to get more curves...  you
will get more curves alright, but in the wrong places.  My thought is that
if you slim down a little and continue you exercise routines... and let
your HRT do it's work that would you be pleased...
....but that is just my unqualified opinion.
I might suggest that you follow what Sharon, @Stottie Girl  said
about not putting on weight...that it is tough to get rid of it, especially
with HRT.
My thought is that a thinner you will perhaps help getting rid of the
"man body" image that you think that you see.

Wishing you happiness...
