Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. The original TV series, episode "Space Seed" (1967) -  (Ricardo Montalban is epic!)

Then the Star Trek II movie, The Wrath of Khan. (He is still epic!)

Then, later in the new Star Trek movie, Into Darkness, Benedict Cumberbatch does a fantastic job as the young Khan. Those are big shoes to fill, but he does a very good job.

Is claiming TNG's "The Inner Light" cheating? That darn flute...the way Picard kind of hugs it at the end as the camera pans out and fades to black...I cry every single time.

Why would that be cheating? I love how they brought the flute back in 'Lessons' when Picard was having a relationship with a female character who played the piano.

There are so many different Star Trek series.  I wonder if they have overextended them.

The latest one I think is about the Star Fleet Academy.  I have not watched any of its episodes.

Too many great episodes in the original series to pick one, but Space Seed is definitely in the top 10, maybe even the top 5.

The Wrath of Khan was by far the best move.  I hadn't recognized the name Khan when I went to see the movie, but when Chekov read the name SS Botany Bay, I remember saying to my self "Oh ->-bleeped-<-".  I was on the edge of my seat during the entire move.

I did watch the first couple of episodes from Star Trek the Next Generation.  They sucked and I lost all interest in anything Star Trek since.

Best single episode was the TNG one when the Borg annihilated most of Starfleet - The Best of Both Worlds (Season 3 Episode 26 + Season 4 Episode 1) Wins for the shock factor alone.

Best series is tricky though. I pretty much loved them all.

I grew up with TOS and TNG so they have a special place in my heart.

For nostalgia I would go for the last season of Picard, it was an awesome season.

Brave New Worlds was pretty cool when they introduced the Gorn,

Deep Space 9 was cool when they had the war with the Dominion.

Voyager had some amazing episodes

Movie wise there is no contest, The Wrath of Khan

Mind, my favourite Sci-Fi series of all is The Expanse by a country mile followed closely by Babylon 5 then Star Trek and Battelstar Galactica. honourable mention goes to Andor too

I love Star Trek.  I will watch any iteration. Enterprise gets a bad wrap sometime, especially the end of the last season. It is amazing and has some great foundation for all the other series.  I went through about a year ago and started them from Enterprise to Discovery.  Now I have to do it again with Strange New Worlds right after Enterprise and Star Fleet Academy at the end.

The Orville has a story arc starting primarily in Season 1, episode 3 "About a Girl," where there is a sex change of an infant issue, for changing a female at birth to male.  In season 3 a reversion back to female story line for the same child: see episode 5, a "Tale of Two Topas," where the child wants to revert back to birth sex.

This first one I'm going to put separate from the Original Series:

The Cage
TOS: Court Martial
TAS: The Practical Joker
TNG: The Best of Both Worlds Pts 1&2
DS9: Civil Defense
VOY: Future's End Pt 1 & 2
Enterprise: In a Mirror Darkly PT 1&2
Disco: only seen first two seasons.  Snore bore for all episodes (the books did Control better).  "Spock's Brain" and "The Alternative Factor" are better than any Disco episode.
Picard:  a disservice to TNG.  Seen all 3 seasons, nothing stuck out.
Lower Decks: does trailer themes me off and the crossover with SNW was worst than TOS's "Spock's Brain".  Otherwise not seen.
Prodigy: the videogame.  That's all that I've experienced of Prodigy.
SA: not seen

If you're talking about the old stuff... I like Voyager most. I don't really have a favourite episode, though. I kind of just watched them like being wrapped in a comfort blanket.

I will say... the episode of "Strange New Worlds" where Spock did the ritual with his betrothed and they swapped bodies... that kind of made me feel a certain way. I quite liked Discovery and Strange New Worlds.

For those not familiar... it's Season 1, episode 5 of "Strange New Worlds".

I kind of like the reboot version: "Star Trek: Into Darkness". They turned the Wrath of Khan movie on its head. I know most hardcore fans hated it but I mean you have to admire the ingenuity. Especially at the end, when they flipped the role of Kirk and Spock (no spoilers). It's worth watching. I always wish they had done a 4th movie, because the 3rd one kind of sucked. First and second were kind of awesome though. All the crew were way too big to do another movie, though.

The movies, I enjoyed Nemesis when I saw it in the theater and I still like it.

Star Trek Beyond I thought was good, except the bad guy I was finding at times I couldn't understand what he was saying so I really don't understand how he changed from the human into what he became.  However I will say that I find the 2009-2016 movies were written a lot better than the 2017-present streaming series.

However I also enjoy Star Trek The Motion Picture, especially the Director's Edition.

Well I certainly didn't hate on into darkness like some, it had it's moments. To be honest I love everything Star Trek and will watch any of it happily. It's not too late for them to come together to do another one. I just hope they don't get Pegg to direct it. I like the guy but that last offering was one of the poorer iterations.

Have you watched the Expanse? Now that's good Sci-Fi. I would love them to do a Babylon 5 remake too.

Yeah I loved the motion picture, I don't understand why it got so much hate.
