Quote from: Stottie Girl on Today at 02:49:54 PMOK Danielle, I do get that we should not use the term itself in our own words and I can see what you mean but are you saying we have to censor our own messages when recounting something that was said to us? Sometimes the context is necessary surely?
Thanks. And quite.
If someone can't tell the difference between quoting a term and using it of oneself, especially in this context, then it's pretty bizarre to me. I obviously don't like the term transgendered. I don't like trans anything as I've repeatedly stated on this forum and my whole point was that I object to the term being used all over my medical records.
It's fine though. I just shan't bother coming on this forum any more if it's going back to the bad old days of heavy-handed, and misplaced, moderating: usually with multiple fonts and colours. I have more important things to focus on, including a major hospital appointment tomorrow re. my Gender Affirming Surgery.
I need to get on and live my life.
