I've been a member of Susans for several years.  I have consistently been impressed with the girls who post here.  They are extremely talented and informed. Now a bit about me:

I believe I finally posted a picture for my account. Not the best picture, but not bad either.  It is me!

I would like to donate like before the crash.  However, it requires going through PayPal.  I do not want to use PayPal.  So if there is a way to donate with a credit card, please let me know.

Keeping this short today mainly to verify my picture shows up when I post.

be back soobn!!

Hi Coral,

Welcome back!

We are aware of the donations issues and that some members may not wish to go that route. Susan is working on things behind the scenes to enable donations using various methods.

For now, you can send donations directly to her. Just be sure to note your site username so you get credited for the donation and receive a swanky Donor Badge for your profile.

The details are in this post:

Thank you for your longtime membership and your support of the site.

Hi, Coral! It's a pleasure to meet you, and welcome back!

Your picture looks great!

I have a question, though... What did you mean here?

Quote from: coral on Yesterday at 05:00:29 PMI would like to donate like before the crash.

What crash? Is there something I need to prepare for?

A couple of years ago, the site crashed on New Year's. We lost many accounts and posts. The Staff worked tirelessly to return to operational status. We still have returning members who have lost their accounts or are unable to log in. Danielle has been working her magic (as she does) to help members get their accounts restored, if possible.

Changes were made to the site in format and appearance. Policies were changed and updated. And behind the scenes, structures are being repaired. Some things still don't work as they did before, but sometimes it is better to upgrade than replace. Donation was one of those areas. The Wiki is long dead but has not been a high priority due to other, more pressing issues.

Not to worry. Susan has installed redundant backup systems, and the chance of another crash like that one is very small.

Oh, I knew about the 2024 crash, but I thought Coral was saying she wants to donate before some upcoming crash. I wondered if there's some impending doom that I'm the last to know about.

No, she was asking for a way to donate the way they did before the crash.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸
