Without wanting to be vulgar, "crappies" sound like something that would be swimming around in the toilet bowl🤣🤣

I know there are freshwater white and black type of crappie.  It is in the sunfish family.

Carp is not tasty. Crappie would be better.  Unsure if Crappie is found overseas in streams.

Both are found in rivers here in the USA.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Crappie, mild not fishy tasting.  Easy to cook multiple ways.  Son's hand in photo for size comparison.  Use light fishing gear for better action.
