One. My brother put my initials on my shoulder right before I joined the Army. It wasn't very good, but it was from him. Many years later, I covered it up with a dragon. My call sign back then was "Moon Dragon," so that's what I got.

It is just an outline with shading, but I have been thinking about having it colored. I was thinking purple, with maybe a bluish tint. I don't know yet. It is low on my list of "Things To Do and Say."

I do not like tattoos.

When you get old I hear they can look terrible.

Many are trying to remove tattoos.

With that said, many like tattoos.  If someone wants one, that is her or his choice.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

A tattoo at any age can be a statement.  My mom plans on getting something if something happens to my dad before her

No, I don't. It's something I've just... I know me. I am too fickle. The idea of something that permanent just makes me a little bit squirmy. During my time in the Navy, I was pressured to get tattoos multiple times. And the weird thing is, I find tattoos can be extremely awesome on other people. They are the ultimate self expression. But just not for me. My canvas is unpainted.

I like small discreet tattoos on other people, but not for me.
I don't have a gender issue.
I love being a girl.

Zero tattoos on my body. I have a conflicted opinion on them.

Occasionally I will see a woman with tattoos (even a LOT of tattoos all over her body) and she will look good. That hardcore look can be nice on the right girl. Or some girly feminine butterflies or roses can look cute. I can admire it.

Yet I don't really like tattoos.
So I have a bit of a love/hate opinion on tattoos. Maybe hate is too strong of a term but really I am conflicted on the topic. My wife seems to add a new one every year and I say nothing because it's her body so I would never dictate to her what she can or cannot do.

I don't have any tatoos nor do I want any but it's odd, sometimes the right tattoo can really look beautiful on a woman (or man) but then others can turn me right off. I do like discreet small tattoos and I love celtic bands and celtic symbology. Less keen on slogans and peoples names, and any celebrity or sports stuff. I guess it depends on where it is, what it is and who it is on. It has no effect on my thoughts of someone as a person at all.

One thing i'm sure of though, it's your bodies so if they make you feel good about yourself, have at it.

All 3 of my tattoos have some meaning for me even if the one on my butt is irreverent. The rose on my left hand should actually be upside down but I liked the idea of the stem across my fingers (that really hurt though). I still want to get more some with meaning but a few on the legs that just look pretty.

No I don't want any.  I find that tattoos are too masculine looking on people, even when it's something feminine it still looks too masculine.  Plus I don't think that I could stand being poked for that long.  I don't like needles and I usually have to take Tylenol or something before getting a shot to calm my nerves.
