It's weird to UK folks because Jif used to be a brand of cleaning product, until they changed their name to Cif. In other countries it's still sold as Jif.

Extra crunchy Jif, to UK folks, is a drain unblocker.

Hi Sephirah

Yeah, Sephirah I agree with you.  Who wants to eat Jif?  It's still a product in Australia!

It's also a plastic squeezable lemon full of lemon juice in the uk. I think they still make that.

Sauces are so plentiful, there are so many of them.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Omg I had that on pancakes when I was a kid. Every Shrove Tuesday. God, that brings back memories. Those green plastic things that were supposed to look like lemons. They looked more like a translucent egg from the "Alien" movie, though, haha. Pretty sure it was a little bit more acidic than it was supposed to be.

We can get lemon and lime in a little plastic lemon or lime in the states. Great for cooking and putting on carnitas

It looks like the company that owns Keen's is buying the food business from the company that owns Colman's.

She news about the McCormick and Unilever companies.  Unilever also owns Marmite and Horlick's.

I tried the Colman's brand mustard on a ham and cheese sandwich I brought from home for lunch.
I did not liberally spread it from the jar.  I only put on a little because of the warning that this mustard would be hot.  I tasted a dab by itself and noticed that it is spicy, in a way like horseradish.

My conclusion from this sandwich is that I did not put on enough mustard to appreciate the enhancement that mustard should provide to a ham and cheese sandwich.  So not only was this Colman's mustard not particularly spicy hot, there was not enough mustard on the sandwich to appreciate mustard being on the sandwich.

On my next sandwich, I will double the amount of Colman's mustard used.  For now, French's yellow mustard, used the way I usually use it, would have been a far better choice.

However, I am fair and will give this at least one more try on a ham and cheese sandwich, and perhaps something else.  At worst, I will be using this mustard up to not waste it.

I'd try the Coleman's when making BBQ sauce. It would probably give it a nice zing.
