Ditto to everything that everyone said.  I love when you write.  It's like having a cup of tea with a good friend!

We all whine.  Its part of the tea ritual.

Aw Emma! That's so sweet. That's one of the nicest things anyone has said to me in ages. Thanks so much😁

Right the, new 11m long washing machine drain in, new outdoor tap and pipework for the back garden and washing machine mains water connection done. I'm washing my sheets in there now as a test but all is working fine. Mint!

My worktops arrive tomorrow at some point so I will hopefully have a functioning kitchen sink back by Wednesday. It is sooo difficult trying to rennovate a house with just a tiny hand basin in the bathroom to clean up in. I've been having to fill the kettle with the garden tap from the front garden! Can't be working without a cuppa can we!

I just feel I need to make my blog a bit more interesting than just me crying or moaning about renovations!

You've read mine, right? Most of it is me moaning about still being stuck in the closet. I don't feel like I have much else to say most times, so I don't update it very often. Trust me, your blog is definitely a bit more interesting.

Just remember that it's your space and if all you want to do is complain no one can stop you!

Petunia

Way to go Sarah.😀

All action girlie.

I'm so happy you've got all that done.

Renovating is one of the most stressful things someone can undertake.

If I had achieved what you just did I'd be floating for a week.
And then one day you stop to find,
10 years have got behind you,
no one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun

Moving right long. Way to go Sarah. When I renovated our apartment I put in an rv sink. Not big enough to get a fry pan in. At least we can draw water from it. I feel your pain.

Glad that you're making progress with the renovation. Hopefully with worktops coming you're nearly in a position to complete the kitchen and move in? That will be a great step I'm sure.

Hmmm, sliced through my finger chopping veg for a jambalaya tonight. That might make things awkward for the workbench routing I have to do tomorrow. grrrrr. I can't catch a break!

Jambalaya was tasty though, must be the added blood lol!

I have my new integrated fridge freezer coming tomorrow along with the new oven so it's all go really. I've managed to open a few boxes of my clothes stash today. These were the older boxes from before my weight ballooned. I am able to squeeze into UK18 skinny jeans now! Woohoo! Down from UK22! since early June!

Shame about the massive fat belly though lol!

As I loose weight I am realising that I no longer need my old 36 and 38 C, D and DD bras as they will no longer fit me. They are UK sizes obviously.

Would it be a bit gross to ask if anyone wanted them? If anyone is interested I'll have a sort through and see what I have got by size, probably more 38's than 36's. They are all freshly laundered and I'm not a smoker.

You can always donate them to a women's shelter too. There is always someone in need.

So happy your house is coming together. You have really been after it.

Don't forget, we want to see pictures. I'm also waiting for a selfie with you wearing a tea cozy. They are unisex, so it should be all good.

A plaster and a mechanics bandage (electrical tape!) and you should be fine, I sliced 3 fingers on left hand and had to have finger bandage at hospital after gluing. Plastic bag over hand and I fitted a v6 to my transit by myself like this.

I'll live Davina! three skin closers and a couple of elastoplasts! I was always cutting and injuring myself installing heating systems, I'm used to the old superglue and leccy tape fix to get the job finished!

I bet you stir your tea with a screwdriver too!

Welding rod. And tea is brewed using an acetylene torch.

Congratulations on the weight loss and getting back into your jeans.

Don't make me post Bob Newhart's "Just Stop It" video! The dry humor might appeal to my British friends though.

Nick was passing the biscuits yesterday, do you want to wash your hands? no they are not that dirty. I have eaten stuff with much more dirt/oil/grease on my hands after 45 years on the spanners!

I've eaten stuff with my hands covered in muck doing car work or building work! Also if I cut myself my hand goes straight in my mouth, oil and everything. Still here!

I have gained and lost more weight that I would like to admit. I am at the heaviest I have been in a long time. It sounds like you are making great progress. I don't think your legs looked swelled in that pick but its hard to tell.

Your house will be complete in now time. Your are moving so fast I am impressed!

Congratulations on the weight loss. No, small accomplishment. I just started replacing clothes that don't fit as well.
