Nothing much happening here. So all a bit boring really.

Got a delivery of a load of new clothes yesterday which perked up my mood a bit. I'm off on a hunt for pillows today. Yeah, that's how I roll!!! God I'm boring these days ha ha!

Still static on the house move. This is really starting to get to me now. All the delay is with the other parties though so there's nothing I can do about it. I just want to get moved and start the next chapter in my life.

Hopefully we'll get to see all these cute new clothes over time?

House moving is hell for sure. That's why I vowed never to move again, unless I'm taking refugee status somewhere if Reform get in! Hope you get progress soon.

I'm too fat for full body pics charlotte! You'll have to make do with a description instead!

I bought the rust coloured sleeveless knit tank top you can see in the avatar pic, a pair of wide leg linen trousers ( I absolutely love those), a pack of scroop neck 3/4 sleeve tops, some tank tops /vests, a cropped pink/blush colour denim jacket and a faux leather moto jacket. I'm also waiting for delivery of two 40DD non padded bras from Curvy Kate.

You can tell I've been paid!

We made that vow three years ago.  And now here we are.  We each have two outfits available: one decent for meeting with bankers and lawyers, and one grubby for working.  Everything else is packed.  So I can vouch for the statement that moving is hell.

Nothing much happening in Sarah's world at the moment. Feels like the calm before the storm really.

I have woken up with a banging migraine that I haven't been able to shake so far.

I received a delivery of some cosmetics yesterday so tried them out last night. Spent a fair bit more than I usually do getting some higher end products but I have to admit they are definitely nicer.

I bought a clinique lip balm called black honey, wozers! that is my new favourite thing in the world! Over £17 a tube but wow, run the tip along the inside of upper and bottom lips, smush you lips together and hey presto perfect lips! I did one coat then blotted then did another one for added depth. The best bit is that as it's a balm it feels great on the lips, no drying out and you don't even need to apply it in front of a mirror for touchups. Magic! I also bought Laura Mercier illuminating primer and tinted moisturiser (way better than foundation) and I got a pallette of Urbay Decay Naked 3 Rose eyeshadow colours. And finally I got my first ever perfume - Ted Baker - Original Woman. I had a right pamper night last night!

I'm pleased with the look, I think it looks quite natural. I'm going to have fun refining it.

Looking good, Sarah!

I like that color, too. It does look natural.

Thanks Lori! I never thought I would end up loving cosmetics! ha ha! I just didn't think I would ever get the hang of it!

The lip balm is weird, You open the tube and it's the darkest plum colour, nearly black and yet that's the colour on the lips. They do two others now too, I quite like the idea of the nude one for a no make up look.

I love this post so much. ❤️❤️❤️
I feel your joy and you rock Black Honey better than I do. Wonderful! My face wants more color but I may try Black Honey again. I LOVE Clinique lipsticks. I'm heavy into their Pops. I started with Nude Pop and Blush Pop. Now I'm into Plum Pop and even Cherry Pop.

I could not live without perfume. I carry it in my purse, have one on my desk at work, and the scent calms and aligns me.

THanks Danielle! I didn't think it was THAT good but I'm getting there. I had another go at it last night, I swapped the liquid eyeliner for a kohl pencil liner  (didn't look right) and managed to get the moisturiser to close to my eyes so spend the whole night with my eyes stinging like hell and tears streaming down my face!

By the way, who is this Sharon woman you keep confusing me with???!!🤣🤣🤣

Do I look like someone you know? ha ha!

Thanks Krista! that's so nice of you to say. The black honey is the first piece of Clinique make up I have purchased. Someone on the board was singing the brands praises, it might have been you actually, and so far I am very impressed. I might take a look at their pop lipsticks but the lip balms are sooo much easier to apply, no more farting about trying to trace your lips, just swipe, smush and done, I love it! I'm going to get the nude one next month too to see what that looks like.

Sarah xx

Nude Pop is easy, too! It smiths my lips and I can feel it and smell it. It is subtle I don't need to trace my lips perfectly and my lips have enough cooler. So Blush Pop is the same but more visible. I progressed though them, loving/fearing the steadily more visible colors. Now I'll wear any shade! I feel so free!
