Oi, Betty, this is not a free for all!

Very Irish collection of names there!

Nothing much happening today, been to a fireplace showroom to mull over some options for the new place. Went to the Pink Lane Bakery to get some artisan wheat and rye sourdough bread and a croissant (naughty Sarah!). Going to make a tomato and basil soup this afternoon. Baked honey and soy salmon with rice for tea tonight.

Noisy neighbour is blaring a super loud radio on his driveway, right next to my study, I can still hear it when I've got industrial ear defenders on. We are going to have words tomorrow if he does that again as I'll be working from home. Don't care if we fall out now I'm leaving. That family has been the bane of my life for 15 years, I can't wait to get away from them. seeking shelter in my bedroom but the factory over the road has started strimming their carpark. I would go out but I'm stuck in waiting for a delivery. Going demented!

Its like that here, as soon as we have a good day and you have a window open the lawnmowers start up and the lady and daughter in flat below turn the Tv up so loud it drowns out my one. Have stamped on the floor hard before now and that worked!!

Everytime I am on a work call I swear they start mowing and they really like to be right in front of my window, THERE IS NO GRASS THERE! LOL, I might be paranoid.

Oh, my, that sounds so nice. If I find myself with more money and time at some point, I think I'll hippity hop across the pond and invite myself to your place for a sleepover. We could do each other's nails and have a chat. Maybe watch a romantic movie and have a good cry. This is what I need in my life, minus the neighbor, of course!

Sounds like you'll definitely benefit from getting away with all that noise. I hope this happens sooner rather than later though.

Years ago I lived in a flat where they came with the leaf blower on a Saturday morning at 8am. That was extremely annoying!
