Doritos nacho cheese flavor sounds good now.  No, maybe the ranch flavor.

Well, perhaps some celery sticks are in order.  Yuck.

I may steam some asparagus as a side for supper later.  That is probably a wiser choice that I can enjoy eating too!

Or how about a quardruple bypass size bacon cheeseburger?  Nah.  A milkshake sounds better for a dessert.

Good luck with your efforts Sarah.  There are plenty of good things one can eat, portion size does play a role.

I had an elliptical before I moved. Was a nice feeling watching my endurance build.

Slow and steady. I hope you enjoy your time on the cross trainer. Excersize is the key to weight loss.

Yeah I have a garage and it's accessed direct from the kitchen too. No going outside in the rain! Perfect!

Not much to report today really so I'll just blather on about nothing as usual.

Still doing my early morning cross trainer micro sessions but it is a lot tougher doing them at 6:30! I might have to switch to evening but I have not put a light in the sunroom yet!

I managed to spend all day working from home as Sarah and it was so so lovely. I am using these occasions to practice curating office outfits and I thoroughly enjoy myself on days like this. I can see myself really leaning into the whole office girl look when I finally transition!

I'm beginning to think my hair might be getting long enough to experiment with soon. I had a brief go at creating volume last night and I ended up looking like albert einstein if he stuck his fingers in a socket! I am having to do this on my own, I am curious how any of you managed to work out how to style your own hair?

Mine is super fine and dead straight so it's a bit of a nightmare to tame, when you add volume it goes all frizzy. I look like a loony! I think it's a niceish colour at least, it's a natural strawberry blonde.

My cat Lucy has been an absolute horror since I moved in, her new favourite thing is clawing the sofa and armchair to bits out of pure devilment😡 So I popped out to the pet shop to get some spray that stops them doing it. Great success! She has not gone anywhere near it, The downside is neither have I as the smell if so noxious it practically makes my eyes water!! I will have to do this every three days until it becomes learned behaviour. I think I might have to dig my filter mask out of the garage next time!

There, told you I had nothing to say lol!

I need to do the same since the cat things my recliner is her personal scratching post. Glad you had success with it. Hugs

What are you using to create volume?

My hair is thin too, but it is naturally curly at the sides, not on top. It is now down to my breasts, and the weight gradually straightens it somewhat. You could try using a curling iron, but heat can damage hair. Another option is to use small plastic curler rollers. Put them in when your hair is still wet from washing, and let it dry without heat.

The downside of curls is that you lose length. When I want my length, I use a flat iron to straighten it. But that gives it a straight, flat look. I am not opposed to it; I just wish I had the volume to go with it.

Does Lucy have a scratch post?

Cats will scratch to clean and sharpen their nails, but as you said, they sometimes do it to signal they are upset. Maybe due to new surroundings? Cats are sensitive to environmental changes. It is one thing to train them not to scratch furniture, but they still need a way to exercise that instinct.

I tried following a routine tonight for a sleek short bob but it's just not quite long enough. I'm using volumising mousse, into the roots, flip my head upside down and use the hir drier while lifting the roots. I then sprayed with heat protector, used some cheap straighteners to pull it down in sections and curling it in to the face at the bottom then smoothing cream to get it sleek. It looked bloody awful ha ha!! Will have to shelve it for a while. longer. I'm not a fan of pixie type cuts.

Lucy has 3 scratching posts but madame thinks it is much more fun to scratch the chairs then run away making chirping noises. She wants to play chase! She is bored but she just does not seem keen on going out during the day. She wants to go out at night but I'm not letting her until I know she knows her way around the garden first. It's a good job she's cute. I would be cross with her but she does the whole puss in boots thing from Shrek and I fold. She has me wrapped around her little finger/claw!

I have long hair and when I want volume I dry it upside down. I get light headed but that can be nice. It definitely works but my hair takes about 30 minutes to get dry or at least it feels that way. Normally I keep it in a pony tail so that I don't end up eating it. I have to use a headset for work so if its down it gets caught in every plastic joint that exists. It was an expensive headset so you would think someone would have thought that part through.

Maybe the spray is training you not to use your chairs and it will train you to use the exercise equipment instead.
