Stottie Girl

Quote from: Northern Star Girl on Yesterday at 05:59:24 PMThat must be a thing with the UK television networks.   The liftoff and the pre and post liftoff were perfect here in the USA.

It wouldn't surprise me Danielle, they are useless. They cut the audio when it started counting down. Saw the engines ignite then the screen went blank for a few seconds then cut to a pic of the rocket allready well clear of the tower. Then the audio kicked back in saying "we have lift off". Kinda put a dampener on the whole thing!

Useless!

I missed the exact moment of lift off too, due to the dropout. I was watching on NASAs YouTube channel.
I think they will be OK now they are in space.
I also hope there is another moon landing soon, its been too long since the last one. And I too became a space nut after Apollo.
I am just old enough to remember Neil taking a small step with his giant space boot, I was not quite 5 years old at the time.
Researching all things Apollo is one of my favourite things.
