Don't appologise for that clown Emma, you didn't put him there. I mean, most people thought he was a bit nuts but I'm not sure anyone expected him to be this unhinged. I'm surprised there isn't laws to get rid of someone when they are clearly loosing mental capacity.

Whoever comes in after this idiot is going to have one hell of a job regaining trust among allies, we're probably talking decades here by now. The more we see of Trump and his minions the more we see this goes far deeper than the orange sh*t gibbon. I'm worried when he's not around anymore are we going to get someone the same or worse.

European nations are beginning to just turn their backs to him and ignore him. There is no pandering to him.  The King should NOT be going over there. It sends totally the wrong message!

As an American, I want to apologize for the orange idiot. I am the half that didn't vote for him.  My friends that did are suddenly very quiet.

I hope they are ashamed and embarrassed.  The results in Hungary gives me hope for our next election.

Fuel is ridiculous at moment. Thankfully I'm using petrol buy still costing a lot more to get to work. Now they're talking about this inflation affecting interest rates just as my mortgage is up for renewal near end of year. Orange man is basically messing up the world.

Back to "normal" what ever that is! Food shop day but have to be back home early by 12 as electrician coming to replace faulty socket. Need fuel as well at £2 a litre (thanks o great orange one) and a good fridge restock.

It's not a bad thing...your passionate about it! Unlike me who's just resigned to the idea that none of it will ever be right. It takes all sorts, we all have our vices. You go politics, I go suicidal rants! Not many of us here or anywhere are perfectly level I don't think

I agree, Davina, but this site is geared toward reducing friction, regardless of the righteousness of what is said.

My sensitivity to politics, like everyone else, is at a boiling point.  The "Jesus/Doctor" image, and the current bathroom law in Idaho, have me raw.

I agree with Danielle, let's keep our own blogs as a safe haven for civil discourse, and rant it all here!

I believe political rants should focus on politics and policy. We should not be shaming people for physical traits. The site has never been a place for fat shaming, kink shaming, or really attacking anyone personally.

None of us want to be shamed for our physical appearance, that courtesy should be extended to others. In the vein of glass houses, I entered "orange concealer" into the site search. It came back with nearly a hundred hits, mostly advising people to use orange makeup to cover blue beard shadow. So maybe we should leave that stone on the ground rather than throw it. 😉

Other than referring to a certain gentleman as the orange one (which is common parlance all over the world now) I don't believe anyone has shamed or attacked anyone for their appearence. If they have then I missed it. But quite frankly I dont give a damn about insulting that poor excuse for a human being.

However, I've had enough of getting into trouble on here and somehow managing to offend everybody. This was never my intention, so I will keep my political opinions to myself in future as they obviously aren't welcome.

I'm sure you all have an inkling how I feel by now anyway so I will leave it at that.

We have areas like this one for ranting and expressing opinions. That isn't a problem at all. But as Devlyn pointed out, it needs to be about the behavior, not physical appearance. About policy, not traits or mannerisms.
