Hello, my name is Eilidh. I came out at 37 to my partner and started a medical transition at 39. Just looking to get some feminization tips and offer support during these scary times.

Also, forgive this question. How do I upload a profile photo? Haha.

It's harder to love and create than hate and destroy. Love and creation takes more energy. Where hate and destruction can be done with a single word that can haunt you for a life time.

In your profile. The tricky part is it has to be a tiny photo (I think it was 200 x 200 pixels?).

General impression counts for a lot as most people don't have the time and energy do more than that.
How you walk up to them as well as any mannerisms is the first thing they perceive.
Women are more cautious and check everyone out while guys can be more oblivious to their surroundings.

Then the way you dress.  If you aren't wearing something like a dress or heels the fit of the clothes often matters.  Women are judged on how they dress so they spend more of an effort to find stuff that fits properly.   Proper fit is often half a size smaller rather than half a size larger for guys.
Women tend to be colder in offices so they wear layers to stay warm.  Just one layer of clothing suggests a male presentation.

Krista is right 200 pixels is the limit. It is easy enough to resize a image though. In Mac OS just open the image, select tools and then resize. Change the horizontal size to 200 and the vertical will adjust automatically. There will be a similar process for windows I'm sure.

As Lori says you need to hit 15 posts though so join in the discussion. You will hit it in no time.

Hi!

     Welcome Eilidh!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.
