Hi all!

I'm Melania, I'm 44.  I live in Long Beach, CA.  I do Cybersecurity for a bank.  I have no idea what I'm doing.  I'm unsure of absolutely everything and I started HRT a month ago.  I figured at some point I would just say, well this isn't me and I should just stop, but that hasn't happened yet and I don't know when or if it'll ever happen.  So here's to not know what you're doing!  Hit me up if you're as confused and lost as me, we'll be confused and lost together!

Lori Dee

Hello and welcome. Everyone has a different journey, but they also have similar feelings, concerns, positives and negatives.

The people here have experiences and personal opinions they can help share and support with. A lot of us are still moving through life on our own journeys and can learn and receive support from you as well. We're happy to have you here. 💚

I'm on that Lost Train, too. I've said those exact words many times! It's also situational. Depending on who I'm with and where, I can feel exquisitely female or confusedly male.

But I also keep saying "Can't stop,  won't stop."

My first HRT prescription awaits me. At the pharmacy.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Hi Melania! A BIG warm belated welcome from me from England! I'm Sarah, 50 years old and been on HRT for 4 years.

I think if you're still feeling good about things after a month then you're probably on the right path. There's loads of info on here but I find the best way to find stuff out is to just ask.

So very nice to meet you. I look foward to hearing more about you.

Hi Galtar

My name is Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

I'm really glad you found your way here.  A lot of us showed up feeling exactly like you do right now, confused, uncertain and trying to figure out what fits.  Starting HRT is a big step and it is completely normal to have a swirling mix of feelings in these early weeks.

Although I'm not an American and have never served, I would like to take the time to say to you "Thank you for your sevice"

Susan's members will help you in your search to finding out who you are and you can take things at your own pace.  Its up to you who or when you decide to tell anyone.  For me I have never told anyone and I'm comfortable and happy with that decision.  Your decision to stop, pause or continue with your treatment is up to you and everyone here on Susan's will support you in your decision.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members.

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.

Please keep in mind when posting that this is an ALL AGES PUBLIC Forum and the internet never forgets.  Do not post anything that you do not want to be made public.

Take care and all the best for the future.

Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!

Best Wishes Always
