Plume vs Folx

As some know I am doing DIY hormones. My therapist is not happy about that and we discussed getting me on official HRT. With my agoraphobia I told her I would look into Plume, has anyone used it for HRT? Also I ran across another service called FOLX. These are services in the US. They seem to good to be true.

I use FOLX as I live in an informed consent state. I'm going private pay but they do accept serveral insurances.  FOLX has a better pricing structure in my opinion. 💚

I started out on Plume but it got to be too expensive (back then it was ~$99/mo).  Now I go to an endocrinologist for it.  The service is wonderful and they have a community built up for you at Plume.

I just see my doctors, get my labs done and reviewed, and receive the meds. 
I have copays and insurance premiums of course but it all seems reasonable to me.
$4 a month for the meds is what I pay, and that is for generic Estradiol tablets.
No insurance is needed to get that price.  Lots of places have their prices online.

I liked the yearly cost if I keep paying out of pocket but if I go Folx my insurance might pay but I worry it would get back to my employer. I am not ready to tell them I am on HRT.

I use FOLX because my current insurance is a benefit tied to my military service. The current "administration" is taking punitive action against active duty and some members through the VA. I keep the two seperate as I see it as another target for them to attack. My FOLX clinician sees all my meds from both systems and makes recommendations. My primary care sees nothing about my HRT care. 💚

I wonder if the HIPPA law would prevent them from knowing who got the medicine or the related medical care unless one voluntarily discloses that information.  Employers may not be able to get this information directly from the insurance company.  There may be exceptions though.

Do online searches and ask others who should know the answer to get more information on this matter.

Laws vs what corporations do are rarely the same thing especially in the current régime.
