Hi all.

Kevin here.

I started underdressing about 5 years ago.
Mostly panties to start.
My wife has been very supportive with all of this.
She gave me a hand made certificate saying I can wear anything I want but no street clothes.
I have a couple of silk nightgowns and a robe.
I have been trying out the thigh high and knee high stockings and can't figure out how to keep them up.
The lace tops stretch out and don't even touch my legs.
I have tried to shrink the lace several ways with mixed results.
About ready to toss them and switch to tights.

Any advice?

Lori Dee

Hi Kevin

My name is Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!  I see that Lori has also welcomed you as well.

It is great to hear you have the support of your wife, that makes a huge difference when you are exploring new things and finding what feels right.

On the stocking problem, if the lace tops are stretching out and not even touching your legs, I would take that as a sign they are simply too big or the cut is not suited to your thigh size.  I would try a smaller size or look for brands that list thigh measurements instead of just "one size".

I would also switch styles and try thigh highs with silicone grip bands, since lace-only tops often do not hold up well on their own.

If I wanted a guaranteed solution, I would use a garter belt so the stockings do not have to rely on the lace to stay up.

And if you are over the hassle, tights are a perfectly good choice and they just work.  Let us know what you try and how you go.
Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members.

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.

Please keep in mind when posting that this is an ALL AGES PUBLIC Forum and the internet never forgets.  Do not post anything that you do not want to be made public.

Take care and all the best for the future.

Welcome Kevin!

It is great that you have a supportive wife!

Before mine passed she was quite supportive, and suggested I wear women's clothes to dress appropriately as men's shirts didn't fit properly.

I did have to be careful about her body issues, as she wore size 22W and I wear model sample sizes.
