Hello
I live in Oregon.  I found my way here doing research on GRS.  I've been on E for 5 years or so.  Lately I've been considering the bottom surgery.  Honestly I never really thought I would.  It's a bit of a head and heart spin.  Anyhow, for hobbies I write and play music (first album out this summer).  I also enjoy weightlifting (very active person... lol).  In kindness, Vicki

Hi Vicky,

Welcome from Connecticut!

I'm not on HRT as a already have a passable petite hourglass figure.
I've asked at the Walmart customer service desk and been directed to the Ladies Rest Room.

Welcome Vicki,
You have come to the right place. There is a wealth of info here and kind hearted folks. I had my bottom surgery, lets see, 2 tears ago (in 4 days). Full depth, with peritoneal lining. No problems and life is good. Used Dr. Keith in NJ. Now planning on coming to Portland this fall or winter, for voice surgery.

Hi!

Welcome Vicki!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Hi Vicki

My name is Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

Thank you for sharing that.  It is completely understandable that considering bottom surgery can bring up a lot emotionally, especially after being on E and following this path for several years.  It is not unusual for feelings or needs around surgery to shift over time.

Your music and weightlifting both sound like wonderful and worthwhile parts of your life, especially as you move through such a personal period of reflection.  Wishing you clarity and kindness with your decisions and of course all the best with your first album this summer.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members.

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.

Please keep in mind when posting that this is an ALL AGES PUBLIC Forum and the internet never forgets.  Do not post anything that you do not want to be made public.

Take care and all the best for the future.

Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!

Best Wishes Always
