Were you kept in though? I'm not out of the hospital for 5 days. Think thats time for the skin graft to take while the bandages stay on.

Yes there for a week, out of bed after a few days and walking up the corridor on day 5.

Quote from: Charlotte Kitty on August 04, 2026, 03:38:10 AMSounds like you're having a great start at least. Have you got long before your surgery?

When I go I'm landing 7am then pre op tests at 12am same day and then my op the day after! My flight was cancelled and moved a day later!!

Hi Charlotte,

Surgery is scheduled for 8.00am tomorrow morning, I am checking into the hospital tonight at 9.00pm. The Driver will come to collect us both at 8.00pm from the hotel.

I did prep with a liquid laxative this morning. It was disgusting but a necessary evil!!! More about that in coming posts.
May the Goddess light your way with calm and clarity.
Blessed Be

Charlotte,

I am staying positive and surprisingly not nervous about what is to come. I'll add the details soon.

Will be glad when they put me under and I don't need to think about it.
May the Goddess light your way with calm and clarity.
Blessed Be
Victoria

That is a fantastic post Sarah.

I wish Victoria all the best with the healing.

And to you, what a genuinely beautiful friend
And then one day you stop to find,
10 years have got behind you,
no one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun
