Ill be going on a cruise next summer, its a family cruise. parents, sister and her husband my aunt who is newly divorced like me who im rooming with because you need two people to a room, her 2 kids and there significant others as well. im going to be fully feminine the whole cruise. already found a sun hat and a sundress. i am somehow trying to find a bikini but I dont have breast and well i dont want my male parts prevalent. that being said I truly want to wear a 2 piece bikini with a cover up and all that jazz. This will be the first time ill be truly feminine for four days straight so im a little nervous but also super excited. so I come here to ask you just what kind of bikini you all would recommend?

Charlotte Kitty

I put tight lycra briefs under mine to control the bulge enough that its not overly noticeable. I just choose bikinis/swimsuits with a wide crotch as too thin will be a problem. Other than that you can get more or less modest cuts for the top and bottom of the bikini. Depends on your preference!

I can wear a bikini bottom backwards to fully cover my male parts, essentially turning it into a thong bikini with plenty of front coverage.

I'd suggest wearing thong underwear until you get used to wearing a thong.

Find a store like Victoria's Secret that sells tops and bottoms separately as you may not wont the same size for both.

You can also find swimsuit bottoms with small skirts for modesty.

A skirt can provide more volume and better balance if you have the typical inverted triangle body shape.

I wear the same size tops and bottoms.

I don't have any advice on the swimming attire but just wanted to extend a word of encouragement about the cruise. If you seen a few of my posts over the past few months you might have noticed that I love cruising and I often use it as an opportunity to express myself. I'm married with kids and my wife is still trying (very hard) to come to terms with me being trans. That means I'm basically living in the closet and without many opportunities to live as a woman. When we go on a cruise I get an opportunity to live more freely.

You will have a blast. I find that most people on the cruise ships are all in a good mood and they really don't care how I dress. Plus the staff are incredibly professional and friendly. Because of all the staff around and security cameras, combined with the fact that cruise lines have zero tolerance for harassment, I always feel very safe on a cruise ship.

When is your cruise and which cruise line? If you need any advice drop me a message. I talk a lot of ship.
AMAB and married to AFAB.
I am gender fluid but live primarily in male mode. My wife knows about my gender identity struggles and we are navigating how to come out and be more public about me being trans.
