Have you ever accidentally broken your cellular telephone?

Was it the screen or was it something else, such as the telephone getting waterlogged?

Did you repair it or replace it?

Did you have a warranty, and did that save you a lot on repair or replacement costs?

Mine fell out of my inside breast pocket at around 70 mph in the outside lane of the M61 when returning from a bike club open nght.
Run over by the white Lexus behind me.

Mine fell out of pocket while dashing across the road. turned round to see a double decker bus drive right over it! took it back to the Apple store and they replaced it for free! awesome service. Went out to play golf the very next day and lost my temper after a bad shot and hit my golf bag with my 5 iron. When I finished the round I unzipped my bag and loads of little pieces of glass fell out. the phone was bent in the middle lol! I had to go back to the apples tore and lie and say you won't believe it but it happened again!" I had to pay for it this time though ha ha!

Sometimes with some telephone insurance you get one repair for accidental damage at a low or no additional cost.  After that it also depends on what your plan covers.

Under the manufacturer's warranty if a part, say a screen, fails through no accident, those are often covered at no charge.  But if you accidentally break it, charges may apply.

Those loose pockets can be a drop hazard!

I guess that is yet another type of hazard on a golf course!

Apple Care+ is nice because now if you are accident prone with your telephone, you have an unlimited number of accidental damage repairs at the lower Apple Care+ rates.

Personally no.

When I worked in IT, we supported a large fleet of company provided mobiles.  Some employees had a habit of 'breaking' theirs in all sorts of creative ways.  The worst was the guy that dropped his into a sewage containment basin at a wastewater plant.  He actually fished it out and brought it to help desk staff.  Yuk!  It went straight into the trash.  He got a new phone and a reprimand for breaking safety protocol.

Dropping the telephone, including it falling from your lap, pockets, hands, or a table, is a very common set of ways a telephone gets damaged.

Sitting on it with it being in a back pocket can cause the telephone to bend.

Water damage is yet another common way a telephone gets broken.

Some people drop something on a telephone.  Some upset people may throw it.
