Hi everyone! My name is Nicole, and I'm new here, so I wanted to introduce myself. 😊

I've been exploring my feminine side more openly and seriously, and I'm discovering just how much I genuinely enjoy it. What started with clothing and experimenting with different looks has gradually become something more meaningful to me. I love putting together pretty outfits, taking care of my skin, experimenting with hairstyles and makeup, and seeing Nicole looking back at me in the mirror.

I'm still figuring out exactly what all of this means for me, and I'm not in a rush to put myself into a particular category or label. Right now, I'm enjoying the journey and becoming increasingly comfortable allowing this part of myself to come forward.

I'm also becoming more confident and interested in expressing Nicole outside the house rather than keeping her completely private.

Outside of this, I'm an avid exercise junkie and love staying active, traveling, and enjoying life. I'm working on becoming leaner and healthier while keeping my strong athletic legs and I have to admit that having some cute new dresses and outfits to fit into has provided some wonderful extra motivation! 🚴♀️👗

I joined Susan's Place because I'd love to meet people who understand these feelings and experiences, learn from others who have traveled their own paths, and have a comfortable and supportive place where I can talk openly about what I'm discovering about myself.

I'm excited to see where this journey takes me and look forward to getting to know everyone.

Nicole❤️❤️❤️

Hi Nicole.
Nice to meet you.
There will be a welcoming committee soon😀

A couple of questions, where are you from and how old are you.
And then one day you stop to find,
10 years have got behind you,
no one told you when to run,
you missed the starting gun

Hi Nicole

My name is Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

It sounds like discovering and enjoying your feminine side is a real priority for you at the moment and I think the best thing you can do is work with what feels right for you without feeling any pressure to put a label on yourself.

If you ever feel that you would like some help making sense of things there are therapists who can help you explore that side of yourself.  If you ever decide that is something you want then someone who works with informed consent may be worth looking into.

I also smiled at your comments about exercise.  Healthy mind, healthy body!  I know all about that after 45 years of swimming up and down a pool.  I still enjoy seeing nice clothes on other women and wanting to wear something similar myself.  That enjoyment never really goes away.

You will learn a lot here from reading about other people's experiences.  We are all different but often surprisingly similar.  Don't forget that by sharing your own story you will probably help and teach others too.

As you become more confident you may decide to tell others about Nicole but only if and when you feel comfortable.  It is also worth being mindful of the current climate around transgender people and taking things at a pace that feels safe and right for you.

You will get to know plenty of people here at Susan's and you are certainly never too old to follow your heart's desire.  Take whatever steps towards your dreams you feel comfortable with and enjoy the journey.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members.

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.

Please keep in mind when posting that this is an ALL AGES PUBLIC Forum and the internet never forgets.  Do not post anything that you do not want to be made public.

Take care and all the best for the future and enjoy discovering where Nicole takes you.

Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!

Best Wishes Always

Hiya Nicole! Very nice to meet you.

I'm Sarah (yeah, another one! Sarah B is the OG though!). I'm 50 and live in sunny Northern England.

I'm still plodding along with transition living a dual life but you will find people at every stage of the journey here. Everyone has their own path and destination and I look forward to watching you find yours.

Join in the discussions, we're a friendly bunch and you will get more out of this place when you do. I have been a member since late January and I can't imagine not having this place in my life now.

Thank you so much, everyone, for the incredibly warm welcome! ❤️

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect when I made my first post, and reading all of your replies has made me feel very comfortable about joining Susan's Place. It's wonderful hearing from people with so many different experiences and at so many different places in their own journeys.

Sarah, I especially appreciated what you said about working with what feels right without feeling pressure to put a label on myself. That really describes where I am right now. I'm enjoying discovering Nicole and allowing this side of myself to become more a part of my life, but I'm also giving myself the freedom to figure out what that means as I go.

And to my fellow exercise addicts, I'm glad I'm not alone! 😂 Staying active has always been a huge part of my life, and apparently cute clothes are turning out to be surprisingly effective workout motivation. ❤️👗🚴♀️

I'm looking forward to reading more of everyone's stories, joining the conversations, learning from all of you, and sharing more of my own experiences as I become comfortable doing so.

Thank you again for making a newcomer feel so welcome. I already have a feeling I'm going to enjoy being part of this community.

Nicole ❤️❤️❤️

If you want to grab someone's attention all you  have to do is put an "@" in front of their user name, for example @Jenny123.

In terms of labels and from my perspective "I don't use any labels that describe my history" except that I identify as a female as in a binary world, but this is only me.

You are right to have the freedom to figure out what your situation means to you, take your time and members on Susan's will support you in your decision.

For me I wear a drab black smock type dress when I go swimming in the morning and when I went to university (college) it was tracky dacks and some top.  But I do dress appropriately other times. I guess what I'm trying to say is; "whatever floats your boat" and if it makes you happy then go for it.

There are members here on Susan's who have a members blog where they describe what they do and their journeys.  In my case you can read about me by clicking on "Sarah's Story" just below my signature.
