Feeling kinda Girlie today, too!
- A couple of pairs of faux camel toe slippies arrived yesterday from Transboutique in France.
- Voice feminization therapy went swimmingly yesterday, I seemed to have found a good pitch in my second session. Now I need to do everything else like resonance, etc. because it still sounds rather artificial.
- I had my second interview session with Frau Dr. Ruppin, who runs the group therapy, today. I told her that I was feeling so girlie that it was like being a tiger in a cage - a female tiger - and that I wanted my vagina and I wanted it NOW (and boobies, don't forget the boobies ... and hips, need hips and butt... might have to settle for chocolate for the time being).
She confirmed that she would write an indication letter for both facial electrolysis and vaginoplasty but the insurance requires, against WPATH guidance, ten more sessions. So, one last interview session (on the 7th) then bi-monthly group sessions until I get 12.
She did ask, "you don't really need therapy do you?" and I said, "No, I'm pretty certain and clear at this point and as a Gen X woman at 60, I don't feel like messing around any more." So, therapy is now a check the box for the insurance, but it's moving along. Letter hopefully sometime in February, then contact Morath and Scholl in Munich for initial consultation on the vajayjay (yay! yay!).
- Since I was wearing my boat shoes, girly socks, tucking panties, sportsbra, t-shirt, and my 'Sandra Bullock" plaid shirt, the only thing left on me truly masculine were my Levis. So I told her as I left that I was going to go thrifting for a pair of woman's jeans and lo and behold, I found a pair of women's flared bottom Levi's by my friend Nikki's thrift shop. WOOT!
- I went to have a tea at my favourite hangout where I like to write (today journaling): an old punk cafe/bar 'Roxanne' on the Marktplatz in Weimar and, get this girls, I USED A WOMEN'S PUBLIC RESTROOM FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY! Wow, so affirming, and ... I never realised how enlightening the graffiti in the girl's stall at a punk bar could be!
- Lastly, laying in bed trying to go to sleep but can't because TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY – endocrinology appointment at 13:00 ... I'm hoping and praying to come home with my hormone regime prescription! I'm so worked up, I can't sleep.
counting little 'E's' jumping over a fence...
PS, forgot to mention that I also picked up on the way home Art Deco #22 Soft Olive concealer and a nude lipstick (also both my first!) but the concealer doesn't seem to do much for my stubble even though I had a clean, close shave today. Do I need foundation too?
And any tips for tucking? That doesn't come with an instruction manual.
