Q: How do i identify for my nick and why?
A: You identify for you nick by clicking on the word identify in the black panel to the left of chat. A popup window will show and you type your password in and click OK. The reason you do this is so other chat members know its you there chatting too and not some one else. Please keep your password secret so no ome can impersonate you on the chat
