Right, and that's why most of the most fundamental organizational stuff, like governments, military forces and the bureaucratic structures are like, well, all male.  As are most of the chiefs, and most of the guys I know keep their own house better than the woman I know do.

I just don't buy the male/female deal, I know far too many exceptions.  I know far too many bio guys that given a 7.5 inch circular saw need not wood, but an appointment for the emergency ward.  I know many girls who handle it quite well.


As said not everything put in there is typical male lol...  as for culturally.  I'm from a small country town originally it makes it difficult to sort things out when you have been influenced by old southern country standards.  Another reason I still confused on things...

Unfortunantly I do have low self confidence... and tend to beat myself up over every little thing, including getting the cultural steryotypes family influenced me with and real thing confused...  Makes me worry you guys won't take me seriously that I do feel as if should been a guy physically.  My brain seems to run between androgionous and male as far as can tell.  But I am only starting to understand where everything I've felt and experienced lays. 

I had never heard of the term transgender or trans-sexual till I moved to the city 3 years ago and didn;t really learn what really meant till this last year.  Though I remember often talking about friends about how I felt I didn't fit as a girl, but not completely as a guy either and that I miss the times that I was taken as a boy before puberty.

I'm trying to understand myself better, and to be myself more.  And living away from family I have also been doing my best to put asside the things family have told me, and learn the truth.

What? People don't take you seriously? I didn't get that message at all.

You can be completely feminine and be male. Look at a lot of gay men. Cross dressers who aren't trans. Femininity and masculinity have nothing to do with gender. They often have to do with passing, but what's more important is being yourself. Don't try to be the stereotypical male because you feel pressure to. I'm going to stay quite feminine, thank you. I am actually pretty moderately sandwiched between masculine and feminine; I share both masculine and feminine qualities. I see no shame in it. I want to be a dancer. A male dancer. Do you think that hurts my manhood? I don't think so.

If you don't fit in as a girl or a guy, consider that you might not be a guy. You might possibly be someone else. Keep an open mind; it's important. You're doing the right thing. Keep trying to understand yourself and be yourself. You're moving in a very positive direction, Aiden.

LOL  I don;t fit as a guy because I'm to emotional, look like a woman and I'm more gentleman than most guys my age.  i don;t talk about sex, or ball games (prefere more geek oriented games lol), and I try to be more mature.

Meh. I'm a gentleman to the max. My nickname's "The Dapper" because I like to always look sharp. I'm polite, helpful, and witty. Almost liek a butler, except I don't get paid and I like to wear plaid pants on occasion.

I don't talk about sex because I ain't got a penis to do it with. I like ball games but not professionally... the teams really are stupid. I guess I'm more into theater, dancing, singing... the more masculine side of me really likes construction, landscaping, and moving big things like rocks and scrap materials.

I think most people try to be more mature, but how many of them really are mature? Some parts of me are very mature, where other parts of me are very immature. I lack proper balance. That's what I'm working on right now. Balancing out.

I'm not so to max.  Least I don't look one.  Don;t look like a geek either though by personal hobby am considered one.  Mostly dress in dark Galic or slightly Gothic looking clothing.  Have a thing for dragons and Klingons so yeh going have a bit of that kind of look going on.  T'shirt and shorts in summer, T'shirt, pants and whatever need to bundle up in winter...  though occasionally wear a kilt as well...  little pride in the Irish/scott heritage and don't care if people think am weird for wearing it lol

But I have my nasty habbit, and tendency to say wrong things or be to blunt(my social graces need worked on) but I try to be gentlemenly.  Help out a lady or even guy with carrying things, hold a door open for someone, say my thank you's and may I's and pleases.

I recently adopted shorts. I'd never wear them because I was afraid my legs were feminine and would give me away. But really, my legs are just small. They aren't particularly masculine or feminine...

I always thought my legs were a bit masculine, not sure now though.   Got them wide hips and it kind of effects the shape some at least the the top

I wear shorts because 1) my legs are pretty damn sexy and 2) they're hairy, too, so I doubt they'll "give me away". (Not that I pass anyway, but eh.)

Sometimes referred to as 'Snail-Trail'... the line of hair that runs up from pubes to the belly button :) I prefer the term 'treasure-trail' cause it doesn't sound gross XD
