I'm 18.....I'm pretty sure I'm not done growing yet because puberty hasn't quite finished it's course (I don't have to shave every day....).
What can I do to prevent those nasty growth hormones making me taller than I already am?

Welcome to Susan's, Henry.

Make an appointment with a doctor, an endocrinologist, and find out. If you are thinking of transitioning MTF then you might want to try the SOC guidelines and meet with a gender-therapist for a few months first.

My suggestion get the medical advice, as far as I know, no one here is qualified to inform you anyhow. No one here has ever reported that they are an M.D. as best I can recall.

Ive always wondered about the official age your supposed to stop gowing oppossed to the real life results.

I stopped growing early in my teens, probably around 14-15 years old as i have never increased in height and im in no danger of ever hitting my head on anything soon. As nicole says go to your doctor and make sure you get your point across that its a serious issue for you.

I have heard of supressants but for the life of me i know no-one whos ever taken them. Could be an interesting fact finder for you hun, good luck.

Oh, I'm not considering any MtF stuff really....I'm just terribly interested in androgyny.

Is there anyway I could just kind of 'kill the clock' until puberty ends?  Maybe a natural or organic way? I've been told a vegetarian diet (incomplete proteins) helps stunt growth hormones but I haven't found the time to research it thoroughly myself.

The most likely way to stunt growth is a controlled veganism or fruitarianism.  But such diets take an incredible amount of knowledge and dedication to pull of without injuring yourself.  The most likely outcome is malnutrition.  I wouldn't really recommend it.

Again im no expert but without direct medical intervention i doubt anything natural or organic would be that effective and in the timeframe you require to stop puberty.

Hmm.  I found a lot of useful information on this site.

I am going to do some research on nutrition and stuff and see if I can work a 'vegan' thing out.
