I'd vote for Cali too, given a truck-load of provisions, like a) you have a college degree, b) you have some sort of skills that other people are willing to pay you for c) you're in California because you want to be in California above all else.  You can make more money in other places.  You can buy houses cheaper almost anywhere else.  Only Texas has a state government more dysfunctional (not that we care much), so if you're into all that 'state money' stuff, it's hard to find.  I'm sure there are other places with the kind of Mediterranean climate that I love.  (The Mediterranean just as one example.)  And, it's not for everyone.  It's a pretty adult state.

You seem to have a negative streak on all the posts I have seen. It is okay to be realistic about certain things but you don't have to sound like you enjoy making people sound wrong.

I'm very lucky to live here in Sydney in Australia. We have a lot of great anti-discrimination laws protecting the LGBTQI community and they are bound to continue improving. A lot of support is available for transpeople who need it. A decent range of doctors/endos/psychologists and psychiatrists to choose from depending on which state you live in in Aussieland. Sydney has a very highly recommended top surgeon too.

If I had to pick somewhere else though, I probably wouldn't be too reluctant to move to Seattle.

I think I'll stick with my tiny little mountain town of 500. Theres absolutely no resources, no work in the winter time, and no TLGB comunity. What this tiny little town has is 500 really cool people who will take you in and feed you a meal if you need one. I'm in Colorado too, but no were near Denver.

Which is why I added "typically".  Everyone is entitled to the own opinion.  Some opinions are more favorable than others but nevertheless it's theirs.

Let's play nice, let's not be throwing sand at each other     There are nicer ways of disagreeing with someone's opinions and/or comment
