Two Spirits is a documentary that tells the story of Navajo youth Fred Martinez. Fred was nádleehí, or a male-bodied person with a feminine nature. To Navajo tradition, this was considered an honor. However, because he was born in this era, instead of receiving praise, he was murdered.
