I am not sure if is the right place to put this but here we go.

I am asking people for some advise. I was recently diagnosed as having low Testosterone levels. I am not sure what caused this but i did have a scare with Testicular cancer about 10 years ago and had a testicle removed. The doctor at the time said it would not effect me but i think this was wrong but whatever the cause that's where i am now.

Looking back i have probably had low Testosterone for a while. I have little body hair, I only shave my face every 2 or 3 days and my head hair is still thick even though i am nearly 60. I have also quite a bit of breast development, i have taken hormones for short periods in the past and i put the breasts down to that. But looking back they do seem to have become gradually bigger. One plus of the low Testosterone seems to be that until the last couple of weeks i had not had an episode of GID for 3 or 4 years. I really did start to think i had finally accepted i am male and the GID episodes had finished. Some people may not find the episodes of GID too bad but for me they always tore me apart for a few weeks until the feelings subsided( am not going for SRS)

After i was diagnosed my doctor suggested Testosterone injections and said they would benefit me foolishly i think i agreed. Within a couple of weeks my nipples became very tender and my breasts started swelling. I could not understand this happening with male hormones but it seems body builders can get the same effect, your body turns excess Testosterone into Oestrogen. Worse for me i don't know if it was the Testosterone or the Oestrogen but something triggered all the GID feelings i had thought were a thing of the past.

My next testosterone injection is due soon and my feelings are forget it no way am i having any more injections. But what do others think should i not bother with any more injections.

Or will not having the injections affect my health in a bad way.

You really need to discuss this with your Dr., but my understanding, for what little it's worth, is that, at your age, it will have very little effect.

Personally, I've love to have the symptoms you describe, pre-suppliments. But then, I blame the ugly bit for everything. :D
