A reader writes: "I have one year until I am 18. I am going to have to leave my family then, both for TS reasons and emotional ones. I have two questions: One, I love my family, and am wondering how to go about leaving. And two, should I transition or wait?

"I know the latter is supposed to be for a gt to answer. I feel the pain to an extent that has hindered my thoughts and made me barely functional."
