New Quips and Quotes
We've seen the need to preserve some of the pronounced wit members of the forum post here.
For this reason, we will be implementing a Quips and Quotes section in the wiki. This will contain a collection of short pieces available for quick reference.
Have you ever tried to find that thing that someone said that was so perfect? You need a perfect saying to describe exactly how you feel? You want a short sentence description to pass on to a friend? That's what this is all about.
We'll be establishing the following guidelines which may be altered as our needs change:
- If you see something witty, truly extraordinary, and worth saving for posterity, pass the URL of the post along to a member of the wiki staff. Please, don't send us your own material. We welcome great quips from the chat rooms as well.
- The staff will review it, check the web for originality, and obtain approval from the person that wrote it.
- The quote, if approved, will be included in the Quips and Quotes section of Susan's wiki along with the name of the contributing author.
- Material will be reviewed occasionally and may be deleted for any reason as determined by Susan's staff members. This is a needed safeguard for various reasons.
We realize that this will be an extra task with additional responsibilities for our wiki staff, so please be very selective on what you pass on to them.
