On July 1, Minneapolis City Council member Robert Lilligren introduced a proposal to amend the City's anti-discrimination ordinance to create, for the first time, a stand-alone and more clearly-worded definition of "gender identity/expression" in order to better serve transgender residents and visitors in Minneapolis.
