On July 1, Minneapolis City Council member Robert Lilligren introduced a proposal to amend the City's anti-discrimination ordinance to create, for the first time, a stand-alone and more clearly-worded definition of "gender identity/expression" in order to better serve transgender residents and visitors in Minneapolis. OutFront Minnesota invites you to a community meeting at 7pm on Monday, July 18 at Spirit of the Lakes/Minnehaha UCC (4001 38th Ave S, Minneapolis) to learn more about the proposed change and steps we can all take to support it!
