I'm creating a poll that has only two options, and I wish only for every MTF Transgender/Transsexual to answer this poll. I have very specific emotional reasons to conduct a poll like this, and I hope that many can oblige and input their feelings on this question after choosing one of the options.

Genitals are not the end all be all of gender, I would much rather be seen as and pass for a woman, regardless of what is between my legs, in the same fashion FTMs can be hairy smelly men, who may or may not have a vagina, but they are still men nonetheless.

Basically social interaction in the preferred gender is more important than the actual parts for me.

In regards to your question, it is pretty loaded.  To me being transgender/transsexual means that you identify as the opposite gender and desire to be perceived and treated as if you were born the opposite sex. For the MTF, that gender is female. It is hardly only because you want to have sex with a vagina, while it would be nice, a vagina will have little effect on how society treats you if you are a burly manly-man.

I am perfectly fine having a feminine body and a penis, genitalia does not determine gender.

A beautiful, slender, facially pretty, female looking man who could perfectly pass as woman socially, but had the genitalia of a man (penis)?

On the single condition that I can eventually change that genitalia: this all the way. Sex is important, but my simple acceptance by others of who I am is far far moreso. Though I do desperately wish to be rid of this thing... I would never take that at losing all of my luck in the rest of this body.

Although I must question your use of 'man' and 'woman', as I would never (ever) wish to be a mental man ever (hello death).

I did not picked a man who looks like a women because I'm a women and not a man.
And I did not want to be a women who looks like a man.
I've been there and done that already. No thank you.

But if you are asking if I would rather be a ugly women or a man who looks like a women.
I would rather be the women because I am a women.
