Do you still maintain your "male-interpreter" or did you dump it?

* So many of us DO talk differently *

Yes, and my male interpreter was constantly on the go to NOT sound differently.

Since I retired that SW I'm hearing (last time by a young nurse in hospital): "Oh, Lady-Talk"

Being dumped in the male section was the usual "scream" with varnishes toe nails and "Lady-Talk". Hey, my former nightmare being ALWAYS stamped as a "Queen" just being myself actually.

Since not being male-homosexual my "interpreter" used to go into program overload, "out of memory space". Terrible.
Since transitioning --- wanna put me with the guys? Well fine, maybe we have some hot ones :-)
"Interpreter" switched off, don't give a hoot, let them think what they want. If in doubt --- ask me, eh.

"Male interpreter" - that's a really vivid way to put it :)

I spent the first 27 years of my life with my "straight male interpreter" unit and my "female interpreter" unit doing constant battle, filtering everything I did through both of their standards. End result was I didn't do or say much, because there's not much that can get past both filters, so most of my communication and social interaction was always through writing.

As I've moved through transition, I've been working on uninstalling the female interpreter while keeping the straight male one running in the background so I can use him when he's useful without letting him run my life.
