The FTM names seem to me to be too American.  I wonder what names are popular amongst British FTMs?  Names like 'Hayden', 'Corey', 'Brad', and 'Cody'  etc are male names virtually unheard of over here.   If you are American just think how many Giles and Ruperts and Piers that you know and you will get my point.   The female name Courteney was entirely unknown over here pre Friends.

When I was choosing a name and asked for feedback, my sister really liked Charlie and my daughter really liked Jasper. Charlie seemed too much of a giveaway to me, but I couldn't say why. Dunno any ftm named that, personally.

I've never met a Skylar. I think it's a very pretty name, but it reminds me of Beavis and Butthead.
