Sex swap miracle baby born to woman who was man and man who was woman

When little Dante is old enough, his parents will sit him down and explain that "Mummy couldn't have babies... so daddy did it for her."

That's because this cute toddler was born into one of the world's most amazing families. His mum Emily was born a boy. And his father Cai was born a girl.

from the article:

QuoteNeither had undergone surgery but they were living as the opposite sex

and to think some still question why the general public cannot wrap their head around some of the issues that exist with the stated medical need for transsexuals to have surgery...and why a divide exists between post-ops and the pre- or non-op segment of the population.

Though didn't the world famous 'first pregnant man' have surgery - or at least all the surgery that counted?  Would he have been considered post-op under most definitions?

Of course, we have to sensationalize the story by using this kind of headline.
"Anyone who attempts to play the 'real transsexual' card should be summarily dismissed, as they are merely engaging in name calling rather than serious debate."

So, let me see if I am reading the article correctly.  Sperm meets egg, sperm fertilizes egg, baby develops.  Am I correct so far?  And what, exactly, is miraculous about that?

I'll give it to them that conception was unlikely under the circumstances.  But.... miraculous?  Not a chance.  Once again, this only proves that newspapers are in the business of selling stories.  The "truth" has very little to do with anything.

Because typically a guy does not have an egg dropping vag and a mommy doesn't' have a big 'ole pecker that can shoot baby jelly into vaginas at will - at least as simple and unsophisticated people might understand it.  It's not that hard to see where everyday-type people, the common clay of the New West, you know... morons might be just a tad confused reading that article.  And here is where the 'irreversible sugary' guidelines start to come into play, I'm more than half-way with Ann on this issue(s) (there is more than one here really, and in the entire argument) that before you can legally change something you really have to change something.  Just because you say so does not make it true.  You have to take concrete steps to actualize your belief.  You have to work to make it true.

Well whatever, it ain't rocket science, I still think its a good news story for Emily and Cai to conceived their own child, they will make wonderful parents, I surpose Im feeling a little envious, yes my own transition was successful, Im now a happily married woman married to a wonderful man, Im a housewife but I'II never be a mum, we can't have everything.
I wish them all the luck in the world, they'll certainly need it.
