Oh my gosh, I love this post! I really don't want SRS and now I finally don't feel like a freak (or at least not the only one, depending on your opinion). While I don't agree that a non-op isn't a transsexual, I'm not here to start an argument.

I am not a fan of serious surgery because they can always have complications and they involve a lot of recovery time, which is not an option for me. I love to be active and I want to be a firefighter, so for my own benefit and entertainment, I don't want to be recovering for months, bored out of my skull and thousands of dollars poorer. While I am not a fan of the idea of using my penis sexually, I don't hate it and could use it for convenience in the bathroom. Besides, in the event that I do ever have sex, the "back door" is always an option ;).

Frankly, I also don't want any high-maintenance genitalia. Dilation seems like a hassle and while I hate looking at my scrotum (looks like Newt Gingrich's face), I can tolerate it. Heck, even my sister, a biological female who intends to stay that way, hates her vagina and would rather have a penis for the sake of convenience.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't mind male genitalia. Thanks a lot, everybody!
