sighs! Well, this topic may be very well expressed. Details are involved, and it may certainly not be what you want to hear. So, today I stand at the mark of 3 months and a couple of days. My changes have been occurring on the inside, but not really on the outside I don't think. This makes me nervous. Firstly, I lost 25 pounds since starting hrt. Secondly, I've noticed a decrease in sexual activity and libido. Ejaculation  is very much clear. Now, lately its been a lot little more than last month and seems to be turning white again, and this worries me.. have hrt stop working for me? My skin is so soft in touch, but in looks???? Is it really.? I'm waiting for that thin skin, elastic look most girls report about. :c in all, I'm feeling horribly down.. To add, I have a boob growth. Yes it hurts like hell, when I bump into stuff. Appears a lot fleshier, but when will that change. someone plz give me hope :/

So far everything seems normal.  Have you talked to your doc though about your concerns?
Our biograhies are our own and we need to accept our own diversity without being ashamed that we're somehow not trans enough.

its absolutely something I will bring to his attention when I go to my appointment next month. When did you notice your skin LOOKED sOFTER?

I have been on about 3 months as well, and I have not yet noticed any changes to my skin.

I do have the decreased sex drive and sensitive nipples, and a good deal of emotional changes as well. The only difference physically I've seen so far is that all my acne is gone. I never had very much before, usually no more than two dots on my face, but I've been clear of it since about a week after starting hrt.

The good will come eventually though, we just have to be patient.  :)

You are very, very early on. I just started noticing things happening in month 3. Sounds to me like you've seen quite a bit of change.
and i know that i'm never alone
and i know that my heart is my home
Every missing piece of me
I can find in a melody

Hormones aren't a super fix :( I was looking at my picture before / after the other day (in photoshop with overlay layers to match everything up)... and it seemed like there was no change at all in my face (I'm at about 4.5 months).

It seems to be a very up and down type of thing. One day you think it is doing so much... the next you think it isn't doing anything (except making you less frisky).

I think it might just be best to just try not to think about it for a year. You gotta give it time ...

Sounds about right for 3 months.  If you have very little or no sex drive, and have noticed testicular atrophy or shrinkage, you are well on the way.  It takes time, and will seem to vary.

I noticed a bit of breast development after about 2 months, then it seemed to halt for a while, before resuming again.  A lot of it is subjective I guess.
It sounds like you are having body fat redistribution too. That is going slowly for me.

Patience is all I can advise, other than having bloods done to check your T levels.

Karen.

I'm with everyone else... this sounds perfectly natural! :)  There are going to be some ups and downs in the beginning where things look like they're reverting, but that's your body getting used to a new chemistry and trying to fight it.  The magic didn't really start for me until after six months.

everything you stated is perfectly normal for three months on HRT.

The round features, smooth skin, etc does not happen until a good amount of time has passed while on HRT.

but right now, everything you described is spot on for your time on HRT. You seem to be doing well!!!

also, be sure to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!

Not every genetic girl is gonna have super baby soft skin! it's why girls by bottles of that stuff a month! You want to moisturize every night and morning. Just be careful with moisturizing your legs if you are gong to put on hose or tights (if you're fulltime). because a moisturized leg + pantyhose = Not a good time putting on.

Sounds normal. The soreness in your boobs is a definite sign the hormones are working. The pain you're feeling is normal and will last a couple of months. It's exciting knowing your breasts are beginning to develop, but wow was I glad when that part was behind me.

Careful with the moisturizer if you have naturally oily skin though!  Mine's still incredibly oily after nearly a year on HRT and moisturizer just makes me break out.  Some people have enough natural moisture that they can do without supplements.
