Back in 2000, for a City Hall roast, Mr. Giuliani got himself dolled up in drag and made a video in which Donald Trump flirts with him and kisses his breasts. It's included in a new movie, Giuliani Time, and you can see it on YouTube just by typing "Giuliani in drag" into the search box.

Say what you will about the Current Occupant, there is no video out there of him waltzing around in a long, lavender gown and a brassiere, and blond wig, while an aging tycoon nuzzles his chest. He may have sunk low back in his drinking days, but he managed to keep his adventures private. I doubt that former Gov. Mitt Romney or Sen. John McCain ever donned women's apparel for the cameras.

I don't think this instance counts as CD.  I think it may be more for show than for emotional reasons (although there could be some of those, too).

He has a shot at earning my vote, though.

Well there was the late mayor of Chicago, Harold Washington, who was said to have been a CDer.  And of course you can't forget the late J. Edgar Hoover.  But there is hope.  Check this article out.  You kind of wonder if there was a double meaning when Tony Blair spoke.

When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Rudy Guiliani utterly sucks. He used to be this much more honest than you expected. Now - he's just another politician.

Besides, he caused a lot of the firefighter deaths on 9/11. Placing the ememrgency command center IN THE WORLD TRADE CENTER? Please.

Plus he hasn't funded helping them get better with health care for all the respitory problems.

PS- John McCain blows too.

Of course he is a politician.

As for 911 and the Emergency Command Center.  Are you speaking of the one located in 7 WTC?  The one that the Secret Service pretty much ordered to be evacuated and those procedures were initialised?  It was SOP for the head of the agencies that had to coordinate with the emergency command center in case of a natural disaster or terrorist attack.  Due to the rubble being removed we will never know what caused building 7 to collapse.

LIT,

I respectfully don't agree with your apraisal of the situation or facts.

Besides. I also think 9/11 was a PNAC plot, and I think clearing the the rubble by Guliani implicates him in the cover up.

Check out the vids on You Tube.  Search for Guiliani in drag.  In He's da Man, he does a slam on a piece from Victor Victoria.  "I'm a Republican playing a Democrat playing a Republican."  His voice is pretty good in that for the part.

I doubt that I'd vote for him either.  But it is for his support of the Iraq war that I'm not enamoured with him.  I know very little else about him.

What facts do you disagree with?

The center existed, it existed on the 23rd floor of building 7, we do not know what caused building 7 to collapes, and that FEMA dismissed that it was the fuel from the two huge tanks that were in the building?

Also housed in there was a then secret CIA operations office and the FBI had an office there too.  The state, city, and the feds used the building to store classified data.

How about the fact that he and his administration understated the impact on air quality due to the attacks and that has led to health problems?  Or how he extended his own term as mayor?  There is plenty on the public record to attack him rather well without resorting to conspiracy theories which, while they may please some, distance moderate voters from the position that he would be bad for the country.

I am not thrilled with him either but compared to some of the conservatives that are tossing their hat into the ring, he would be the lesser or two evils.  Hopefully the Dems will field someone that will make most of this a mute argument and we can then start on reversing some of the damage done in recent years.

My inquiry was to prod info out of you.  ;)
