THIS IS MY OWN EXPERIENCE! THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT!!!

Alright, so I'm not sure how much of this I'm allowed to post, I've tried making sure it's okay though.

Before I began HRT, I was very horny all the time. Testosterone definitely made me horny. Then I started on Spironolactone (anti-androgen) and Estrodiol (generic estrogen). The dosages are of course dependent on your body. Within the first couple months I lost my sex drive completely... I was even almost repulsed by sex.

Later on, I started Progesterone and gained some of my sex drive back, but medically speaking didn't gain any significant breast growth, the only growth that I had was in the mood department. I got happier and angrier much more easily, which never felt good in any way.

Now comes the significant part: orgasms.

When I first began HRT, the only way orgams changed was that they were less... but since I began depo-estrodiol (injections of estrogen), orgasms have become so intense to the point where I can barely keep myself from crying out in ecstasy! I'm not sure why it is, but my orgasms have changed in such a way that they have become so intense that it's hard to keep quiet! I've tried to figure out if it's just the difference between male and female orgasm, but it's hard to say at this point. Even my nipples are so sensitive that they can orgasm (which believe it or not is actually kind of irritating). I wish that pills were the ones that caused ecstasy.

i feel like its probably just the difference between male and female orgasms. from the "other side", i never had an orgasm before going on testosterone but have obviously heard the female orgasm described. i had a couple 2+ months on t and all i can say is it felt like my d*** was sneezing. i mean yeah sure it was lovely but i wouldnt have broken anyones headboard.

Yes, hon there will be a change --- but also there will be less frequency, - my experience.

If I have big O too often it gets kind of flat. Like nice, OK, but then no big deal.

If there was a stretch of time, say a week, between the last occasion THEN it can get VERY intense in deed.
Myself, --- I just let "fly" and make what ever noise is coming out, so to speak.

I wouldn't even know how to stop this. In the end I'll have wobbly knees and feel VERY much done for.
It is this time that some hugs and cuddles be soooo welcome, alas not the case when having masturbated on your own...

So, seems all's just jolly fine, you will get used to it --- as we do to most things. More often then Xmas and definitely more exiting to boot :-)

Do you masturbate the way men do?

Ooo yea I noticed this a bit back... and is one the reasons I would NEVER want to stop hormones (haha! really, this perk is really entertaining! men really get the short end of the stick when it comes to sex / orgasms... no wonder they have such issues with it).

It started happening month 3 or 4 on estrogen / spiro... and first time it happened I thought I was going to hyperventilate. And yea, the more frequent between playing around... the less strong it is (boo). I'm not really frisky much, but I make it a point to have fun now and then (it is easy to become frisky).

I have also found the nipples being a lot more sensitive. In fact, it has completely changed the way I play around. I start up there and just use my imagination for a while (which, is slower than as a guy, but more fun).

Also, I found I don't look at porn anymore...  I "can" and it is nice and everything... but I just don't really need to anymore (I am fine just using my imagination). So this is a complete flip to how it used to be (where i typically looked at things, and rarely just used my imagination).

Oh, andd during I am very very quiet...but physically I try to scoot / get away from it or something (??)... and when it is over become extremely exhausted. Definitely a new / fun experience, haha I would recommend HRT to guys, but I doubt they would really enjoy some of the other effects :P

Oh, and while we are talking about different reactions, I found that I can find things EXTREMELY funny more often now (and for some reason, when I laugh that hard, I actually start to cry / sniffle... again, uhh... ???)

All of this is just another reason that I don't get why people don't enjoy being trans! If we had always reacted this way, we would never be able to appreciate it like we do. Haha I think I might go into too much info when talking with friends / family about the changes sometimes >< I just can't help but share the orgasms thing, it is just so funny / great.

Lol, sorry but I'm going to have to pop in and turn that theory a little on it's head, I've found that since being on T my orgasms have become way more intense. For me I used to go at it, reach a peak, and be done. I was still and silent, I mean it was nice, but meh. Now I twitch and buck (there's a little animal male instinct I didn't know I had :P) and gasp and all sorts of stupid things I can't control because it's so different.

Something like this could also maybe be related to the amount of stress you hold in your body? My theory for a while was that I was always so tense and wound up before T that it was hard to let go, but now I'm relaxed and my body is reflecting that. But I dunno, everyone's different. :P

I have to add to this... multiples. My orgasms have become more intense but also I have multiples now (my record is five). It truly is exhausting and wonderful.  ;D

Honestly, I think we all experience orgasms better when our brains are on the right chemicals. The brain, after all, is the super-primary sex organ. It could also be partly psychosomatic. For example, I'm not on HRT, but I've noticed that if I concentrate, I can have orgasms that are more "vivid", full-bodied, and female.

* Do you masturbate the way men do? *

In my case being pre-op the answer is: YES.
Have no idea what will follow when post-op though.
Wish me luck :-)

I must confirm this! :-)
Often I just can't/won't contain myself and just have to blurt out --- it's like a must, can't stop it.
Can be a bit embarrassing with company, say watching a nice movie?
Even happens watching DVDs on my own, I can just crack up, laugh my butt off, clapping my hands... hehe :-)

Thank you for bringing this up,

Val,
I hear what you say, but still be on my way to SRS, eh :-) If it's the last thing I'll do.

Spend the afternoon chatting to my trans gf (24), awaiting labia and clitoroplasty, op 3.
Yet I might still be done before her, though.

The point, - she is, after 2nd op, (neo-vagina only) having wobbly knees, close to hyperventilate, and in general when all is said and done completely "finished". Including female ejaculation, something no one has even touched on this far!

Well, good to know of another happy post-op (2 out of 3). also I was the first to be told she got engaged to be married to a very nice SADF Captain, set to become Major soon.

Very, very happy for her --- not even jealous, must be growing up?

No. Not since my transition. I use vibrators now as a genetic girl does. I don't ever touch "it."

Anna,
not every body is in possesion of such a magic "helper" :-)

As it goes, I have to touch that appendage a number of time during the day, then so what?!

Wash it, dry it, pack it, repack it, well - squeeze it, tease it.
It seems pretty unavoidable, like blowing my nose, and have #1 and #2.

Sounds like your statement is implying that I stated if anyone is touching it they are doing it wrong. If that is the case you, unfortunately, misread my intentions.

I was talking about my own experiences concerning what I personally have tastes for.

When it comes to sexuality there is no wrong or right answer; only what works for each individual.

Ouch Annah!
Yeah, it did come across that way - some, and hey, every one his to own. No harm in that.

Still, I actually tried my very own LELO (pink and white) and it doesn't quite do it for me, but it is sort of nice +/- , um.

Hope this clears it up?

Lovely, not quite pre-op-orgasm-level but definitely NICE. :-)

Sometimes almost prefer the more gentle happiness of agreement --- never mind the subject.

Sucker for happiness,
Axelle

PS: Getting ready for "Sex and the City" 2nd season re-run - and some happy clapping.

You girls are having way too much fun.

Dont get too attached to orgasms since after SRS you may not have them anymore ...ever.

I know, im a party pooper. Anyway, enjoy, have fun.

I've been told the opposite, if you can have a fully female orgasm pre surgery (you'll know when you have one ;) ), then the chances are good that you will continue to have them after.

Ya, my SRS Doc has told me the same thing. If you can achieve orgasm that is female (and you are right....you will KNOW when it happens), then you'll experience likewise post op
