Electric Wizard

I'm sure this is a topic that has been posted before, but it's something almost everyone on hormones would be curious about at some point. If you're on T, in what order did your changes occur? What did you notice first, and what did other people notice first? I assume, like most things, this depends on the individual, but I am curious if there's any pattern to it. Plus I am also curious what I might discover first, since I haven't really noticed anything yet. Also, what changes have you experienced? This is another thing that depends on individuals, since I've seen people who have transformed, and I have seen people who barely get any changes. Share!

I am about 5.5 months on T and this is what I've noticed outwardly.

By about 2 months my voice had dropped considerably so that I mostly passed. Probably by 3 months I universally passed.

Hair growth started immediate, but I am a bit older and was hairy to start. Now I can grow a full goatee and have an obvious 5:00 shadow along my jaw and above my lip. I was anxious for this so I did a little rogaine and bought a home hair growth laser. Don't know if they helped or not, but I'm sure they did not hurt.

I did not think I had an fat redistribution until about the last few weeks, but when I lost weight I lost it in the right places...i.e. the butt and hips...that started from about month 2.

I did not notice any facial changes until about month 4, but in 1 month I pretty much went to passing 100% of the time. I looked up jaw exercises on youtube and did those sometimes when I was driving and also would chew a huge wad a gum for an hour or two a day during that month. Don't know if they helped, but again that's what I did.

Starting from week 1 I noticed good muscle growth and definition from my workouts when continues.

I've been on hormones for a bit over 9 months now. Immediately after the first injection, I felt a lovely overwhelming sense of peace about me, and sparked new-found confidence in me. I really believe I could feel the testosterone absorbing slowly into and flowing thru my bloodstream. And then I ate sushi.

Within the next few weeks I did more exercising and stretching than I had previously, and I noticed my muscle mass increased and hardened much faster, and my endurance of lifting and carrying significantly increased, as well as my energy levels. My facial and body (specifically arm, leg and treasure trail) hair thickened and darkened, and has been looking more prominent and nicer ever since (now growing hair on my upper thighs since about a month ago).

About a month in my voice dropped quicker. It was actually fairly deep before I started T, as I would practice often and tune my voice with a guitar. My libido increased pretty fast too, and I was actually capable of maintaining an "erection." A decent amount of growth occurred downstairs within 3-5 months, I believe.

The changes at first were electrifying and I would talk to my room mates about it a lot. Now, at nine months, the above of what I've described has only gotten better. Although, my menses had not stopped, and as of now I do not know if they have. I have stomach cramps at the moment, but I feel a kind of renewed energy and I feel like it could be over. Last month the cycle only lasted 3 days of consistent blood. So, that is finally changing. I also did a little research, because I would have occasional UTIs (after the cycles), and I think it's because T alters the bacteria and yeast count in your downstairs region. (This is where I found some reliable info on that: http://www.ftmguide.org/tandhealth.html#yeast)

Oh. And about six months or less into HRT, after getting some blood work done, my dosage was doubled because I would run out of energy towards the end of the month, since I did the shots in the beginning. (T has a half-life of eight days in the body.) As time goes on you of course become more accommodated to the amounts, and then you're doc will give you a blood test and okay an increase.

Sorry if I rambled a bit. Hope it's resourceful

I've been on T for 6 months and some days. I haven't noticed much at all. Maybe because I'm on half a dose so my changes are coming a whole lot slower. The only changes I noticed are hair everywhere, mostly legs and thighs, I shave everywhere else, except under my arms. My voice is deeper, maybe a young male, not sure, everyone interprets my voice differently, but for the most part, people hear a young male. My face has become more rounder, but nothing drastic. My mustache is a little thicker. No facial hair yet, just peach fuzz. Maybe some muscle growth? I'm guessing that's where the 10 pounds came from.
