Do you plan on getting bottom surgery?

sneakersjay, thanks for the link, this is a very interesting site and they have some great results.  I am thinking meta is for me, the results look so good and being able to stand to pee through your jeans without the need for a stp would be so nice.  I feeling is still there throughout all the parts which is what I want.  Having your frontal hole gone would feel so great, no guy has one of those.  I only use mine to hold tampons now and with a complete hyster everything would be gone. There are definite risks but the final results are so great that I thinkthey are worth the risk.

If nothing better's available by the time I'm ready for it, I'll be going with meto. Size isn't that much of an issue for me (as already mentioned, there's penis extenders for sex); I just want something that functions like the real thing, feels like the real thing and leaves minimum scarring. Plus there's the whole multiple procedures with phallo that just isn't practical for me.

Big reasons for me include wanting to lose the front hole (I'm better with it than I was, it's just a useless piece of flesh to me now :P ), and feeling more secure in certain situations where I currently pack. I just get the whole "that isn't right down there" vibe about it, so I definitely need something :-\

i am not planning on getting lower surgery (i think i'd be more than happy with a reelmagik or similar prosthetic) - but i want to disagree with people saying the results don't look right. The only pictures i've found on english sites so far were on transbucket and there weren't many, but i've seen dozens of results from european surgeons and they looked VERY natural. I personally wouldn't do it because my arm (or thigh) is more important to me than a penis. and because i don't want to put my body through such an ordeal. and i would hate to have to get the pump replaced every ten years or so. but i have seen results that were truly amazing, lookwise, and did look like regular bio men's dicks.

So, you're not a guy then?

Even in death, may I be triumphant.

I definitely want bottom surgery.  even if it's just with today's technology.  I just want a real penis badly.  Of course, since I'm not on T yet either, idk if my view will change once my body starts changing.

I would, though, be really, really picky about who does my bottom surgery.  I would not settle for second best.  I have seen some bad results, and I think that would upset me as much as not having one at all does.

It is a huge decision to choose lower surgery.  You need to be able to balance what you want and need with available surgeries and surgeons.  And remember that there can be complications; for you the risks of that have to be worth the potential benefits.  This isn't for the feint of heart.

I consider myself lucky to have great results (for me; others might not like what I have), with minimal complications.  But it took a huge toll on my body for months afterwards.  It is a huge deal not to be taken lightly, that's for sure.

For me, a 2" penis is better than none, no hole is better than a hole.  At my age technology isn't going to change fast enough any way.

You really need to think long and hard about what you truly need to be happy, and be prepared for potential complications. They happen even with the best of surgeons.  But yeah, being anatomically correct, even though small, has been a huge boost to my self esteem.

Pre-T I thought I didn't need bottom surgery now that I am on T that has changed rapidly. I would do a metoidioplasty or centurion if I had the money and was already post top surgery.
While the results of bottom surgery are not the perfect scenario I refuse to say the results aren't "good". Devaluing someone's body because of my personal opinion is something I would never do. If you don't like the surgical options out there don't get surgery. Make sure you have educated yourself on what is available before making blanket statements about results. Trans men stating that bottom surgery results aren't good gives a lot of false impressions to the cis gendered population as well as uninformed trans men.

No. I love the growth I've had so far on T and it has increased my sexual pleasure a lot. I also don't want to risk losing sensitivity and experiencing complications arising from yet another operation (planning to get a hysto + top surgery).

Hell yeah. It is necessary, for me, or my dysphoria will become debilitating.

I'm not quite sure yet. I've seen some excellent results out there, but I'm still underage, so I've got quite a while to contemplate on this and I look forward to watching the technology grow in the years. I think when there are more advancements to be done with bottom surgery, so once them advancements are made, I'll probably take the thinking more seriously.

I am one who would definitely prefer/ benefit from surgery (due to my chosen sexual preference for males) I would have to wait until I can afford any sort of treatments (haven't gotten started on anything yet really, heck, i am still working on coming out..) I believe I'd probably just stick with a high end prosthetic until the technology improves to the point where I'd feel satisfied with what I can get... phallo sounds best to me, due to the size factor and sensations.. but the risks and scarring are sort of a scare for me...but if I went with that I'd get the implants and all my girl parts removed. I plan on working on some sort of savings plan to be able to work towards this all... but it may not happen for many more years sadly (for me)

i plan on getting bottom surgery. i've dreampt of having a penis my whole life. i feel completely out of place for not having one. and i dont care the cost, i'll save for it one way or another. i've had realistic dreams where i had one, and it was the best time of my life. i need a strapon just to even get off. i cant even have sex if i dont mentally block out the vagina between my legs and insert a mental image of a penis. my wife touching me does nothing unless i picture it with me having a penis. bottom surgery i believe will finally complete me. of course my top surgery is going to come first, but i will have a matching male body before i die. :) it's the way i was born to be.
