Almost all religions are based on bloody wars.

I wouldn't agree with that at all. Instead I would say that "Almost all wars have used religion as an excuse."

I would agree, or not, depending of the meaning you give to Religion:

A cocoon of rigid man-made certitudes to avoid to have to think, question, explore and learn, but to feel important, smug and rightious;*
or the result of a fluid, ongoing, humbling and enlighting spiritual process connecting you deeply to the mysteries and intricacies of the universes (and his/her/its creator.)
