Yes, they are ungodly!  But their money is the same color as everyone elses!

I can remember my ex complaining about my legal name imprinted on my support checks.  "I can't accept these checks!" she exclaimed.  "You will if you want the money," I told her.  She found out that they cashed just as good as the others.

Insanity, it is.  These people who act like this are insane.  I can't describe it in any other way.  How do their offspring even survive?  I just don't know

Yes, that is SO sad... being so young and exposed to that level of anger and (self) hatred.

Maybe if she learned to love and accept herself, and face up to whatever is obviously torturing her and stop hiding behind Jesus... ?

I smiled at first, but it quickly stopped seeming funny when I saw the looks on the kid's faces, how scared and terrified and upset they were from their own *mother*.

True story: When my boss and I were planning my "coming out" at work, I mentioned the conversation with my mother, and how it went relatively well.

I think christianity merely clarifies whatever you bring to it. It exposes what's in your heart already. For some people, that's a generousity and beauty that's just amazing to see. For others, it's an awful hatred and ugliness towards anyone "different."

As extreme as that ladies response was, it was a just a basic fundamentalist religion response. 

There really isn't that much difference if you substitute Islam for Christianity, Qur'an for Bible, and  "Allah Akbar (God is great)" for "In Jesus' name, I pray".

Without bringing all the religious zealots down on this poor transsexuals butt, please let me state that these are extremes!  And by definition are in the minority.  Mainstream Christians and Islamics are wonderful people who actually share quite a bit of religious background.  By each of their definitions the extremist fundamentalists many times exaggerate and misrepresent their respective religions.  And are considered over the top.

This is just more sensationalist television claptrap.  The only thing missing was Jerry Springer and a folding chair...
